Gadsden County Opens Annual Event Grant Cycle

Quincy, FL - Gadsden County continues to support and grow the local economy through grant funding for events and activities enjoyed by residents and visitors. The application process for grant funding opens Tuesday, May 14, 2019 and closes on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

To qualify for a grant, events must take place between October 1, 2018, and September 30, 2019, and must attract overnight visitors who use hotel and motel rooms in the county. Funding considerations include preference for events held during traditionally low hotel occupancy periods, the number of out-of-town visitors expected and the scope and duration of the event.

Marketing funds are available on a reimbursement basis only and are limited to no more than $5,000 per event or organization.
